She shrugged.

"You interest me. I like to keep interesting things alive. Or dead if they are more interesting that way. You're more interesting alive."

"How do you know? You haven't seen me dead."

He grinned.

"I like you alive. I don't like most people dead if I like them alive. Some people I like better dead though."

"Hm. Fair enough. I'm not, however, so sure that I classify as a person."

She poked him.

He raised an eyebrow.

(OOC: Equally banal XP)

"See? You reacted. Dead things don't react. They're no fun."

She blinked repeatedly.

"I'm very hyper. Don't mind me. Have I introduced myself yet?"

"Can't say you have, but I'll assume you know who I am from... following me."

"I'm Lith."

"Lith. A pleasure."

He bowed again, this time, less mockingly.

She laughed.

"And you are Xur'tal. So. Tell me. How did you and the other boy merge?"

"That's the curious part- I don't know. I've been alive far longer than him, unless he was alive and neither of us realised it. I don't know why the merge happened. Lately I've been pondering, what if it was not a merge but a split? Elves are closer to humans than they are to deamons... so it's possible. But I wouldn't have a clue."

"I see. Fascinating," she said, thinking, "and it's only him on the other side and you on this one."

"Yes, that's correct... although, if he crosses to this side, his ambitions become mine. I can only cross to his mind on the other side if I'm asleep. It's... odd."
