Xur'tal stood up, his eyes glinting red. He was aware of exactly what was going on- Connan was hunting someone.

'Well, I am an assassin... may as well do the boy's job for him. Aren't I nice, Connan?' Xur'tal smirked and counted to 100. He could still see the target, as his eyesight was beyond belief. Then he gave chase, knife drawn.

Buck had no idea where he was or what he was doing there, his legs giving out on their own and causing him to fall to the ground face first. He looked up from the ground, eyeing the place that appeared completely different from the place he had previously been in. He was unaware of the one chasing him. "What the hell..?"

Xur'tal was there in less than half a second, a feral grin on his face. He grabbed the human by the hair and effortlessly lifted him off the ground by it.

"Hello there, human. Care to tell me what's in the suitcase, and what you met with the other, male human at the boarded up warehouse to attain? Otherwise I may just have to rip your throat out with my teeth, and truthfully, I'd rather not. It would attract vampires, and they are such messy eaters."

Now he was scared. "Ahh!! It's just money! I needed certain papers! I didn't do anything, honestly!! I don't even know where I am!! Vampires?!"

Xur'tal grinned, showing teeth now. And fangs. Very, very sharp ones.

"They're venemous, you know. It's something of a neurotoxin. Causes pain receptors to be around 2000 times more active. In a demon. In a human, I think the pain alone would kill you. I could invade your mind and just take the information, or see if you're lying. But since you have to die, biting you will be so much more entertaining. Now, are you sure it's just money? and what are the documents? I suggest you tell me. Now."

He was terrified. Probaby enough to wet himself if he hadn't already. "I swear it's nothing bad it's just papers!! Don't kill me!!"

Xur'tal sighed.

"You know the problem with humans? So... uncooperative, thats the word. Uncooperative. Ahh well. May as well do things the old fashioned way."

Xur'tal gripped the human, and drew him down so they were eye to eye. The human's eyes went blank, and Xur'tal sent his mind into the human's. Withdrawing information he thought Connan might be able to use, Xur'tal then retreated back into his own mind, before ever so gently piercing the human's neck with his fangs, sending his venom straight into the man's bloodstream.

"The poisons should start to work soon. You won't enjoy this, but I will."
Xur'tal leant on the rail of the bridge, and relaxed, waiting for the show to start.

Buck's eyes went wide, and he lay perfectly still on the ground. He couldn't believe that this... thing, had just bitten him. He could feel his neck growing hot, but didn't move, fearing movement would trigger the promised pain. He flicked his eyes to the creature leaning on a rail of the bridge. It... he, was grinning, expectant.

And then the pain began.

Buck screamed and convulsed as a sudden torrent of pain overthrew his senses. It wasn't just painful, it was destroying him. The heat travelled from his neck to the rest of his body, and it was if he were being melted from the inside out. He thought he could feel his organs disintergrating, and he broke into long, hysteric, continous screams. As this happened, his body began to shut itself down, overwhelmed by the pain.

Within 15 minutes, he was dead.

Xur'tal frowned. 'Hmmm. Must have put in too much venom. That usually takes at least an hour. Ahh well. Better cross the bridge, or Connan might figure out that he's not entirely what he thinks he is. Poor deluded sap, why does he think he's so psychologically fragile? Ahh well.'

Xurtal turned and walked back over the bridge.
